The Thuraya Prepaid SIM card is the easiest and most flexible way to use your Thuraya satellite phone. You can use the prepaid SIM card with vouchers and prepaid connectivity, without the need for a monthly contract. You can also benefit from prepaid airtime in any of the 140 countries within coverage map.

Validity:
The first call must be made within 6 months of activation, otherwise the SIM card will be canceled. The SIM card remains valid for 12 months from the date of the first call, and extensions are available.
GSM service:
Thuraya has partnerships with some GSM networks, allowing roaming in selected countries (please check the website for the latest list of countries). For outgoing calls and SMS, will deduct the balance based on the charges from the GSM network, in addition to own handling charges. Receiving calls will be charged at USD 0.50 per minute, in addition to any network charges.
Call increments:
Charges apply for the first 60 seconds and then for each subsequent 60 seconds.
