VOX hands-free (with audio accessory)
When using an Entel VOX-enabled audio accessory, your Entel HT644 portable can operate totally hands-free. All you need to do is talk, and the Entel HT644 portable will automatically transmit for you.
Scan/priority scan
The Entel HT644 Series portable has the facility to scan for an active (or free) channel. When the channel is found, the radio will automatically select it for you. Priority scan will allow you to select one channel in the scan list treated as a “Priority”. It will be checked more frequently than all other channels in the list.
The Entel HT644 has been designed to meet the challenges of life at sea. It comes pre-programmed with 58 marine channels, 10 weather channels, and 36 programmable private channels. The 58 marine channels can be switched to comply with USA, International, and Canadian channels.
