The ICOM IC-A120 is a high-performance VHF airband transceiver designed for aviation professionals requiring reliable communication in demanding environments. Operating within the frequency range of 118.000–136.992 MHz, the IC-A120 offers 200 programmable memory channels, allowing users to store and quickly access frequently used frequencies. The device supports both 25 kHz and 8.33 kHz channel spacing, accommodating various aviation communication standards.

Equipped with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technology, the IC-A120 effectively reduces background noise, ensuring clear reception and transmission even in noisy airport environments. The Automatic Noise Limiter (ANL) further enhances signal clarity by suppressing pulse-type noises, such as engine ignition interference.

For hands-free operation, the IC-A120 is compatible with the optional UT-133A Bluetooth® unit, enabling connection to third-party wireless Bluetooth headsets.
